Meanwhile, the Shanghai Composite is down -2.75%, the Japanese Nikkei down -1.91% and the Dow Futures down 300 points to back below 29,000.
Crude Oil tumbled as virus fears spread, with Oil prices skidding a further 2% to multi-month lows.
The Saudis are desperately talking down the implications of the virus on global growth and the demand for crude. The fear factor depressing the oil markets is having the opposite effect on Gold +1.02% and Silver +2.33%.
